The IKEA™ cabinets in this project are outfitted with Swedish Door EMIL style cabinet doors. The EMIL cabinet door style is a unique small style shaker door featuring 3/4″ thick door with 3/4″ stiles and rails. This door style is finished using a thermofoil wrap in the colour ‘Morning Dew’ accompanied by TESS flat slab side panels.

The IKEA Akurum cabinet system was discontinued in 2015 and replaced with the new IKEA Sektion cabinet system. If you have an IKEA kitchen made and installed before 2015, you likely have an Akurum system. A quick way to check is to look at the holes inside your cabinets. See the diagrams below.
